Scala sound-absorbing panels \u2013 a playful paraphrase of corrugated iron that also utilises the functionality of the form. \u201cThe inspiration came from the many houses in Iceland, where not only the roofs but also the fa\u00e7ades are covered in corrugated iron. That’s how the idea of bringing it into the room came about,\u201d explains award-winning designer Anya Sebton. The design of these sound-absorbing panels was not only developed for visual reasons but, above all, to contribute to a softer soundscape.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
