Sound Absorption Through Integrated Lighting Element
Open spaces with large window areas and hard flooring amplify noise levels – in offices as much as in cafeterias, reception areas or meeting rooms. WSA uses lighting elements as a targeted, additional acoustic measure to reduce noise directly at the source.
Different solutions apply depending on requirements: Lily combines lighting and sound absorption in a reduced, felt-based form. Trumpet is an acoustic panel with integrated, dimmable LED lighting. Vika absorbs both low- and high-frequency sound and is available as a ceiling-mounted light or floor lamp. Frameless Light combines sound absorption with lighting in several forms – as a round ceiling light, acoustic column, light for high spaces or narrow light strip. Moon combines a spherical design with directed, glare-free light and DALI control.
Which solution makes sense depends on room use, ceiling height and existing acoustic measures.
