With that special feel for detail: fine stitched piping and drawn-in leather divide the comfort zone. Foster 510 is reminiscent of the classic English club armchair. Hundreds of pocket springs are just the thing for sophisticated sitting. In lobbies, museums, galleries and shops. With or without a backrest. Discreet stability is provided by the minimalist legs.
Foster 520. Design: Foster + Partners.
A new classic of salon culture. The Foster 520 armchair reinterprets the tradition of the club armchair – the development of which in Germany Walter Knoll was involved in at the beginning of the twentieth century. The designers at Foster + Partners have made masterly use of the materials: saddle leather with its striking grain for the back, natural fabrics for the seat. The elaborately finished decorative seam emphasises the sweeping lines. With a slight swivel action or quite still on legs: powerful elegance with a perfect dose of laissez-faire – essential for long evenings of charming hospitality. New: the armchair is now also available in all fabric and leather combinations, completely covered in fabric or leather as well as with a lacquered outer shell in bronze or anthracite.
